After observing all of the thumbnail options I decided to go for number 4, which was my depiction of a demonic goat character, inspired from a lot of artwork I found on Pinterest.

After sketching the front-facing design of my character I decided that I was delighted with how it turned out and began to focus on doing the rest of the turnaround.

My idea I had in mind for this character was that I wanted him to look weak and gets emotional very easily; make him seem out of place compared to all of the other strong bully-type shapes around him, yet at the same time be appealing to the audience and make his design look iconic. Considering he was a demon, I wanted him to fit in with the theme around him so he wouldn’t look too out-of-place so I decided to give him piercings, a spiked collar, a shirt with a pentagram logo and ripped shorts to keep the cohesion of the theme and the character.

Throughout creating this, I must note the importance of doing turnarounds such as this as I personally never considered to create turnarounds this descriptive for any other of my OC's, however it seems that concept designs in the animation industry will always have some form of turnaround reference of a character and I can really understand how helpful they will be in future production. A good example of this being used in industry is with looney tunes turnarounds where they use turnarounds for their characters, and in this case: Tweety. Annotations are important as well as it helps the artist concentrate on certain elements of the character.
