Once I had my character and had the turnarounds complete, my next task was to create a pose sheet for my character to portray his attitude and emotions a little clearer. My idea in mind was that I wanted to make this character look moody and fed up, yet I wanted to exaggerate other emotions such as anger and embarrassment to keep with the theme of the project. A reflection note that I made to myself after I made the sheet was to try and practice anatomy more since a lot of these poses still seem stiff and twinned, yet I can exaggerate these emotions so much further by drawing anatomy better.

Now that I have my character's physique displayed it was time for me to begin with the colours and experimenting what colours will look appealing for the character. Here I drew 8 different colour variants and asked people in our class, my parents and a few other people online what design they liked the most. People seemed to like all the designs and choosing just one turned out to be quite difficult, however the red and black design was preferably the most iconic design and the one that I loved the most, however the purple and orange / blue and pink colour variants we're close contenders.

I wanted to reflect on what I learned about colour theory in class and apply these colours through the emotions certain colours give a character. For example, I used black and red to convey hatred and anger, using blue and light gray to show insecurity and sadness and white and black to show contrasting emotions.
