For the next development stage on my project I wanted to create a story which wasn't too far out or too simple, just a perfect story which can be animated in roughly 90 seconds.
Firstly, I was recommended to use the story dice by Dave Birss to help generate ideas if I was ever stumped. I gave it a role a few times to see if anything clicked, and sure enough when I got the ghost and umbrella prompts together something clicked in my head and I just knew that I had to create something with this.

After I got my story I decided sketching down a few interactions on how the story would flow. Here's how some of them looked:

As you can at this stage I was going really rough with my work and was focusing more on getting ides on a page instead of thinking how good it will look. I first approached my story development by creating a mini storyboard just for me to open myself up to what the story should be and where I wanted to go with it. Throughout this stage I was keeping in mind how long it needed to be, what locations will my characters be in and if the story made sense to the viewer.
