This is the evaluation of a team project I worked on with 3 other students on an idea to improve the quality of life of Peel Park and how we organised our pitching for this idea.

Our idea was that we wanted to make Peel Park a better place and add more activities around the park to make it more appealing to be in. This may include the implementation of football goals and basketball courts. We would then take these ideas and model them into 3D objects to be placed in a virtual environment in Mozilla Hubs.

My main role in this project was the planner, as well as doing a small portion of modelling too. Other members in my team were also focusing on modelling and building the park together. Although I didn't have the most experience with modelling I do think that trying it out definitely improved my skills in using it, and after making a few simple models I became more confident creating more obscure designs.

For my personal response on what we produced on this project I personally think as a team we did a really good job communicating with one another and checking up on how each of us were getting on with the project. I think the most challenging part of all this was managing the workload between us since as a group we didn't want to dedicate all the work to only a few people, we wanted to make sure everyone had their own role in getting something done for this project and I believe we did a really incredible job at sorting that out.

The presentation is what I honestly thought would pose the biggest threat to our project. In my personal experience, working with people I haven't gotten to know for so long, as well as the pressure presenting our idea to an audience was quite daunting at first, however when we actually did it I must say that I genuinely felt buzzed after the whole experience, as a team we did a fantastic job splitting the presentation into our own parts and transitioning ourselves to one another. I'm also incredibly proud on how confident we felt overall, since all of us were able to speak it felt like we had the support of each other and all-in-all fulfilled the true feeling of a team project.

At the end of this experience, I do believe that I picked up on some truly important key skills which I can embed into future projects, the most influential one to me is being aware on the importance of having everyone in the team communicate with one another. It did feel like a huge breath of relief to know how up-to-date we all were and where about everyone was in every progression we made.
