For this lesson we were experimenting with what was a completely new piece of software to me called Mozilla Hubs. We were to learn about what features this software had and what we could do with them.

To describe this software in a nutshell, it is essentially a 3D environment where you can meet people through it and communicate with each other by spawning in objects, drawing all over the environment and showcase each others avatars. From my personal observations, I believe that this can be compared to the popular virtual reality game "VR Chat", however Mozilla Hubs allows the client to access the software via the web which offers easier access to a wide audience who might be interested in using this.

To get myself more familiar with this software, it was appropriate for me to begin making my own avatar with the software's built-in avatar editor called Quilt. If people were to be really creative with this software they could even 3D model their own avatars and put them in the 3D environment which to me sounds incredible fascinating and something fun to try out, however for me I personally think adding a galaxy skin onto my robot looked just as exciting for me:

Once I was happy with how my avatar looked it was time to visualise what my character looked like in the 3D environment. Although I still managed to get a selfie with my robot in the 3D scene, the amount of lag that was happening was very noticeable and held me back a lot which is a bit of a letdown with the software (and this is even with a powerful Nvidia graphic card built in my computer)

Before we finished off this lesson, I wanted to try out Mozilla's world building software Spoke. This software could give creators the chance to build their own imaginary world with whatever they wanted inside of it, and personally I found this software quite easy to use in comparison to other 3D software. Since I was just getting started with this started, I decided to download a preset world and add in different objects such as benches and foxes to make the environment more active.
