For our introduction into this new module, we got shown this model known as "Buckid" which has been intentionally rigged for the use of posing. For our task, we got told to get the characters in three different positions to help practice for any future tasks we had for this character.
Considering that I wanted to take the best approach for this model, I wanted to use the important "Observe, Translate, Animate" sequence which should help me get the best results for these models.
I approached the observation tasks by choosing 5 different poses of myself so in that way I had a selection of what poses I liked the most to end up posing it on Buckid. After completing this, I then started drawing the different poses I did on my iPad just to see how the poses would translate through drawing. I personally think that I do need to practice anatomy a bit more since the characters didn't look too structured, however I still believe it did help me out enough to give me an idea for the modelling.

Next was the "Animate" stage which in this instance I am just more focused on the modelling aspect instead at the moment, and for the first few minutes of playing with the character and trying to pose with them it was quite difficult and a lot of body parts I wanted to move ended up being a lot harder than I imagined. Nevertheless, I did end up getting three different poses of the character which I'm personally happy with the results off. Although my experience with Maya isn't the greatest I definitely think I've put out results which exceeded my expectations.
